Tech Apps I-V
(Technology Applications)
Four to eight months are needed to complete this online, self-paced course. This course will fulfill Texas state technology requirements for all teachers as well as preparing them for the state exam. First-year teachers and teachers learning computer basics
Tech Apps EC-12 Online, self-paced course requiring six to 12 months to complete. Complete preparation for the state exam from your own computer and at your pace. Teachers who want to be Tech Apps certified
MTT
(Master Teacher in Technology)
This online, self-paced course takes anywhere from a few months to a year or more to complete, depending on the student's chosen pace. Receive advanced technology training, preparation for state exam, and the ability to teach or mentor colleagues all from the convenience of home. Includes the MTT Study Guide Teachers who have taught at least 3 years OR already possess a Tech Apps certificate
MTT Study Guide This online, self-paced course takes a month to complete. Preparation for the state exam Teachers who have completed the MTT course, whether at TAMU or not
TechKnowledge (variety of topics available) Choose a module covering a topic of your choice. Each of these online, self-paced modules take a few hours to complete. Students can take individual modules as needed which concentrate on a particular tech topic. They can review for the state exam and/or obtain continuingedcredit. Teachers and administrators who want to focus on particular technology topic

Continuing Education Services Cancellation and Payment Policies

Cancellation
Participants are expected to complete their program of study. If for any reason, the participants are unable to fulfill their obligations, written notification must be submitted to the program director within 30 days of a scheduled module and/or class. A non-refundable cancellation fee will be assessed after payment due dates if written notification is not on file in the Continuing Education Services, Center for Distance Learning Research, Texas A&M University. If notice is received thirty days before the scheduled class, participants will receive their fees minus a cancellation fee of 3% of the original fee. If notice is received less than thirty days prior to scheduled module, the students will receive their fees minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the original fee. Once a class has commenced, there are no refunds.

The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone its programs in the event of insufficient registrations, instructor illness, severe weather, or natural disaster. In the event of program cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately and all fees will be returned in full.


Payment
If a module/class payment is not received on scheduled due date, your registration will be subject to cancellation. In addition, a late fee will be assessed for all registrations past the scheduled due date for payment.
